The Umrah Ambassadors Program is an initiative supported by the Saudi Tourism Authority to enable individuals worldwide to promote and sell curated Umrah packages on behalf of licensed Umrah companies, without the need for an agency license or operational infrastructure. As an Ambassador, you earn a commission on every successful booking you generate.

Given the deeply spiritual nature of Umrah, Ambassadors are expected to have a genuine understanding and respect for the pilgrimage experience. Ambassadors who personally relate to the journey tend to build stronger trust with potential travelers. As such, having performed Umrah before is a key consideration for your eligibility, which would be confirmed during the application review process.

To join the program, you must meet the following criteria: Age: 18 years or older. Identification: A valid passport copy for identity verification. Bank Account: A valid IBAN bank account registered in your name to receive commission payouts. Language: Fluency in Arabic or English. Umrah Experience: Having personally performed Umrah is valued, as it helps Ambassadors speak authentically about the journey.

No. Joining the Umrah Ambassadors Program is completely free. There are no registration fees, subscriptions, or upfront costs of any kind.

No. One of the core benefits of the Ambassador model is that you operate as a demand generator, not a licensed travel agent. The licensed Umrah company partner handles all operational, regulatory, and logistical responsibilities. Your role is to connect interested travelers with verified packages through your unique referral link.

Applications are reviewed and processed within 2 business days of submission. You will be notified by email once your account is approved and ready for activation. If you have not received a response after 2 business days, please contact us at: support@umrah-ambassadors.com.

Once onboarded, you may browse available Umrah packages on your Ambassador dashboard, select packages relevant to your audience, and generate a unique referral link. Share that link through your social channels, community groups, or direct outreach. When a traveler clicks your link and completes a booking, the sale is attributed to you, and your commission is recorded automatically.

The platform is currently being developed to support end-to-end online booking. During the current pilot phase, your referral link captures the traveler's interest and booking request, which is then confirmed directly with the Umrah company partner. Full in-platform payment processing is a priority feature being rolled out progressively. You will be notified when full e-commerce capability is live.

The DMC partner receives the booking request and is required to confirm or respond within a defined window. Once confirmed, the traveler proceeds with payment, and your commission is attributed to the sale. Your dashboard will reflect the status of all leads and confirmed bookings.

Your dashboard displays only packages that are currently active and available for promotion. We recommend checking availability status before running any promotional campaigns, particularly for time-sensitive packages such as Ramadan or peak season offerings. If you are not sure, you may submit feedback to the DMC issuing the package to confirm availability or pricing.

No. All operational responsibility, including delivery of services, accommodation, transportation, and visa handling, rests with the licensed Umrah company. Your role is strictly that of a demand generator. Customer complaints regarding the trip are handled directly by the Umrah company and, where needed, escalated to the program's support team. You are not financially or legally liable for service delivery.

Commission rates range between 4% and 8% of the confirmed booking value and vary by package. The exact rate for each package is displayed on the package detail page within your Ambassador dashboard before you choose to promote it. Commission rates are subject to change in accordance with program policy.

Commission payouts are processed monthly. A commission becomes eligible for payout once the associated booking has passed its cancellation window and has remained on your account for 30 calendar days, meaning the booking can no longer be refunded. Once eligible, your commission is transferred directly to your registered IBAN bank account.

No sales quota is required during this phase. You are free to promote at your own pace. That said, we strongly encourage all Ambassadors to stay engaged with their dedicated Ambassador Success Advisor, who is available to help you develop your promotion strategy and maximise your results.
